Long-distance detectionunderwater robot successfully passed the acceptance of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project Team!

In mid-May 2020, the contract acceptance meeting for the joint research and development project of the long-distance underwater robot detection equipment for the middle route project of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project was organized in Gaobeidian. Relevant leaders of the Construction Management Bureau, business related departments, project review experts and relevant representatives of Deepinfar Co., Ltd. attended the meeting.

Deepinfar.Ltd team reported the research and development process of a customerized ROV used for long-distance detection. After on-site testing and data inspection, participaters all agreed that the functions and parameters of long-distance detection ROV meet the origianl contract request and should pass the acceptance! Experts at present said that the successful application of long-distance detection ROV (detection distance up to 6000 kilometers) means that Deepinfar team outstand from other domestic company in the ROV design, automatic control, underwater high-precision navigation, and adaptability to multiple hydraulic conditions.

The Middle Line of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project is 1432 kilometers long, with 2385 intersecting buildings, and the main water conveyance channel spans 4 provinces and municipalities in Henan, Hebei, Beijing, and Tianjin. As of May 9, the middle-line project has delivered a total of 29 billion cubic meters of water to Henan, Hebei, Tianjin, and Beijing steadily, becoming the lifeline for 24 cities along it.

In order to closely monitor the operation status of the project, the relevant leaders and experts of the China Construction and Construction Bureau considered introducing intelligent underwater robots as a supplementary method for observation and detection. Because the project is large in scale, long in battle lines, and involves many fields, it is a very large project cluster covering dams, reservoirs, channels, large aqueducts, tunnels and other projects. At present, the existing underwater robots cannot fully meet the detection task. There is an urgent need to develop a new type of underwater robot detection scheme that can cover various complex working conditions and complete multiple detection tasks. In this case, Deepinfar's rich experience in water conservancy has impressed customers, and was therefore fortunate to participate in the joint research and development of "Long-distance underwater robot detection equipment".

The Long-distance  dection solution contain for models: underwater robot, fully automatic cable shaft,  integrated control ceter and engineering vehicle. Equiped with multy-sensors, it could perform structural details through acoustic and optical methods for water conveyance buildings such as inverted siphons, tunnels, culverts, box culverts, etc., According to the design requirements, the longest detection distance of the tunnel is 6000 meters. The scheme has been verified many times at the customer's site and help customers obtain a large amount of precious data.
